iPhone photos usually include: make and model, a lens name that says which front or back camera was used, the iOS version (Software), capture time with its time zone and, if location access was on, GPS coordinates. The table below comes from the report for our test file, tagged like an iPhone photo.

These values come from the EXIF Scanner report for a test JPEG we tagged like a phone photo. The file carried 37 fields in total.
HEIC files your computer can't open
Even if your computer or browser can't display a HEIC file, the metadata report is read on the server, so you don't need to convert anything. If the browser can't show the image, the server tries to make a preview.
Sharing from iPhone without location
When you share a photo on iPhone, tap "Options" at the top of the share sheet and turn off "Location". For files from other devices, or when you are not sure, check the report before sharing and remove the location here.
Frequently asked questions
Do you convert HEIC to JPG?
No. The report is made from the HEIC file, and the cleaning options keep the file format.
What is the size limit for HEIC files?
The limit for photos is 50 MB.
Is the Live Photo video checked too?
A Live Photo is two separate files. You can upload the photo part as HEIC and the video part as MOV, one at a time.
